Day 1 Jun.23/Aug.24 USA – Shanghai MU 586
We start our vacation by boarding an international flight in Los Angeles, bound for Shanghai, the Financial capital of China, an dynamic city of great splendor. Meals and snacks will be served on the plane.
Day 2 Jun.24/Aug.25 Shanghai
Arrive at Shanghai Pudong l Int’l Airport. Around 6:30PM. A tour guide will greet and escort you to hotel.

Day 3 Jun 25/Aug.26 Shanghai (AB, L, D)
Visit the new Shanghai Museum. It has an excellent coverage of all branches of Chinese art, including Buddhist stone carvings, bronzes, jades, calligraphy, ceramics, painting, coins, seals, furniture, and a gallery of the minority cultures in China. Following the museum we will visit tYu Garden. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying. This garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age. In the evening, you will have a chance to cruise on The Huangpu River
Day 4 Jun 26/ Aug .27 Shanghai—Suzhou (AB, L, D)
Today we’ll drive straight to Suzhou, which is known as ‘Venice of the East’ with its network of canal streets that are crisscrossed by 300 bridges. We will take a boat ride to explore the Grand Canal, constructed 2400 years ago, second only to the Great Wall as a Chinese engineering feat. Take in graceful bridges that cross over the water, and tile-roofed whitewashed houses that sit close to shore. Enjoy a music show in Master of Nets Garden at Night.

Day 5 Jun. 27/Aug.28 Suzhou-Shanghai (AB, L)
Today, we will drive back to Shanghai, where we will go to visit The Oriental Pearl TV Tower. It is surrounded by the Yangpu Bridge to the northeast and the Nanpu Bridge to the southwest. This creates a picture of 'twin dragons playing with pearls'. The tower is 468 meters high (1,536 feet) tower is the world's third tallest TV and radio tower. The rest of day is free, left for you to explore this city on your own.
Day 6 Jun 28/ Aug 29 Shanghai--Beijing (AB, L, D)
In the morning, we will go to the airport and take our flight to Beijing. Luggage will be delivered to our hotel. The group will go to visit the Temple of Heaven, widely regarded as the noblest example of religious architecture in all of China. It was the site where emperors came to worship heaven for a bountiful harvest. We will enjoy delicious Peking Duck Dinner.

Day 8 Jun 29/ Aug 31 Beijing (AB, L, SD)
We will begin today’s full tour with a visit to the fabled Great Wall-Jinshanling. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a massive defensive structure built to keep off intrusion. This Section is one of the best preserved parts of the Great Wall with many original features. In the afternoon we will visit the Summer Palace. It was the garden of the imperial family during the late Qing Dynasty and now is China's largest and best-preserved royal garden.
Day 7 Jun 30/ Aug.30 Beijing (AB, L, D)
In the morning , we will visit The Forbidden City (including the treasure house which is supposed to be the best Chinese art and hand-craft collection,). It is the largest and most well-preserved imperial palace whose vast and exotic grandeur was brilliantly captured in the movie The Last Emperor. In the afternoon, we will visit the Urban Planning Hall of Beijing. After dinner, we will return to the hotel.
Day 9 July 1/Sep.1 Beijing (AB, L, D)
In the morning, we will visit Tiananmen Square, the largest and most magnificent public square in the world. Then we will go to the Grand National Opera. You will have chance to explore Qianmen Street. After that we will drive to the National Olympic Park. Enjoy a rickshaw tour of Hutongs to experience the local Beijing peoples' life. See and take pictures around Olympic Stadium (exterior), nicknamed ’Bird’s Nest’ and the National Aquatics Centre, better known as the ’Water Cube’. (exterior) In the late afternoon, we will visit 798 Art Zone.
Day 10 July 02/ Sep 02 Beijing –Xi’an (AB, L, D)
At noon, we will board a flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival, we will explore the Shanxi Provincial Museum (2 hour stay). This museum has excellent coverage of all branches of Chinese art, including Buddhist stone carvings, bronzes, jades, calligraphy, ceramics, painting, coins, seals, furniture, and a gallery of minority cultures in China. We will then check into the Grand Castle Hotel 5*
Day 11 July 03/ Sep 03 Xi’an (AB, L, SD)
Today we will go to one of the most exciting archaeological finds of the 20th Century - the more than 6,000 excavated Terracotta Warriors. It is a sight not to be missed by any visitor to China. We will visit the ancient City Wall and later enjoy a Dumpling Banquet Dinner and aTang Dynasty Show at the Shanxi Grand Opera House.
Day 12 July 04/ Sep 04 Xi’an ---Wuhan (AB)
Fly to Wuhan.
