4. Teamwork and collegiality are an integral part
of our work. You may be required to co-teach with
another English teacher. Can you work cooperatively
to develop daily lessons? Discuss.
 
5. You will probably be provided a young Chinese
teaching assistant. Describe how you would make
this experience meaningful and rewarding for
him or her.
 
6. Teaching in China may require a great deal of
standing, walking, stairs, and heat. Please
discuss your general health, energy, and stamina.

teaching in China requires above all, a great
deal of flexibility. Each year, we get last minute
changes of plans from our hosts. How do
